Department of Farm Structure

The department of Farm Structures was established in 1977 for providing technical knowledge in three main areas i.e. Farm Structures, Post-harvest and Process Engineering in Agriculture and Rural Electrification. The department offers courses at graduate (B.E) and postgraduate (M.E & Ph.D) level. There are well qualified staff members capable to serve the purpose of enhancing technological knowledge of youth in Agriculture, Structures and Electrification. This department offers postgraduate degree programs of M.E and Ph.D in Farm structures and Process engineering.

This department also provides advisory services to the progressive farmers in the field of Post-harvest and Process Engineering in the field of agriculture for improving the quality and quantity of farm produce.

The mission of department is to produce the technical as well as skilled persons for the society in general and to benefit the individual end users in particular. In the last year, the department of Farm Structures produced 02 postgraduade students who completed their M.E degrees.
